We are currently looking for a pro-active janitor that is a hands-on individual who will perform janitorial and minor maintenance duties to ensure the overall upkeep of the sports complex and surrounding grounds. Their primary responsibilities include cleaning and performing small repairs. Responsibilities:- Perform general janitorial and maintenance tasks in accordance with local building and fire codes.
- Ensure that entrances, grounds, and parking lot are kept clean, clear and safe including:
- Property and grounds cleanup
- Grass cutting and edging
- Seasonal snow and debris removal
- Change room cleanliness
- Window cleanliness
- Washroom cleaning checklist
- Shower cleaning checklist
- Parking lot and property cleaning checklist
- Completed high school education or equivalent is an asset.
- Valid driver's license an asset.
- Building Service Worker Certificate (BC).
- Previous experience as a commercial buildings janitor (preferred).
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends and call outs).
- Approachable and team orientated with great communication skills (verbal and written).
