We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join the College Administration and Pupil Support (CAPS) team at the heart of Canford Sixth Form College. The role is central to the day‑to‑day life of the College and the experience of our pupils. As part of a collaborative pastoral and administrative team, you will ensure the smooth running of College operations while providing a warm, approachable, and responsive presence for pupils, staff, and parents. You will support pupils in a pivotal stage of their development as they prepare for life beyond school.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage day‑to‑day administrative tasks for the College.
- Provide pastoral support and act as a first point of contact for pupils, staff, and parents.
- Work across the College Hub and residences to foster a well‑organised, supportive and aspirational community.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure operations run smoothly during core operational hours (Monday to Saturday 0800‑1800).
Qualifications
- Proactive, highly organised and confident working with young people.
- Experience in administrative and pastoral support roles is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
