The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
An exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Executive Head Chef to lead Canford's dedicated team of chefs has arisen. During term time, the team is responsible for preparing high-quality meals for up to 1000 people, 7 days per week, as well as supporting various internal and external hospitality events.
In addition, the catering team supports our Events department with preparing and presenting exemplary food for external functions such as weddings and lettings that take place predominantly outside of term-time. Reporting to the School Services Manager and working closely with the Catering Services Manager, the Executive Head Chef is responsible for ensuring that the Department excels in all aspects of service.
Applicants must have proven experience in a similar role, a robust approach to managing allergens and other HSE requirements together with excellent team management skills. An NVQ / BTEC Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) is essential, and qualifications in Food Hygiene, Management of Allergens, and Professional Culinary Arts would be advantageous. Flexibility is essential, as is a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
