This is a full-time, remote role for a Solution Consultant (FP&A Software). The Solution Consultant will work closely with clients to understand their FP&A and operational planning needs, translate requirements into solution designs, and configure modern planning and reporting tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Conducting discovery sessions
- Preparing and delivering product demonstrations
- Building proof-of-concept models
- Supporting presales activities with the sales team
- Leading or supporting implementation projects
- Coordinating with technical teams
- Documenting requirements and configurations
- Training end users
The Solution Consultant will collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine best practices, contribute to product and process improvements, and help ensure successful client outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including financial modelling, data interpretation, and problem-solving within FP&A or related functions.
- Consulting experience, with the ability to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Presales and sales support skills, including conducting discovery calls, delivering software demonstrations, and contributing to proposals.
- Project management capabilities, such as planning tasks, managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring quality delivery.
- Experience with FP&A, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, or corporate performance management tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive, Planful, or similar) is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment with strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
