As one of 4 investment management centres at Candriam, the London office is a key focus for growth at Candriam. In recent years we have put in place all the building blocks required to succeed in the Wholesale business channel, with a presence on all of the key dealing platforms, and have developed a top-tier client base. We are now seeking a Senior Relationship Manager – Wholesale to help drive the next stage of our growth in the UK and Channel Islands. The successful candidate will be strategic, focused, and dynamic; and bring a proven track record (at least 10 years) of building relationships and delivering business growth in the wholesale channel.

Main responsibilities:

  • Promote and develop the UK Wholesale Sales Business with a focus on generating revenues
  • Maintain solid relationships with existing key clients and establish new client relationships
  • Client visits planning, execution and follow‑up
  • Ensure the highest quality of presentations
  • Follow‑up regarding request for information
  • Contribute to development and implementation of the UK Business Plan
  • Assist with development of junior team members

Profile:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent. At least CFA IMC level.
  • 10 years sales and relationship management experience
  • Established book of UK relationships
  • Understanding of key market dynamics and trends
  • Experience of working with some or all of our key investment capabilities: sustainable investing; global, regional, thematic and quantitative equity; fixed income; and liquid alternatives.
