With a strong focus on customer service and operational reliability, the company continues to grow and is now looking to strengthen its commercial team with an experienced Business Development Manager.

The company provides a range of waste management services, including:

  • Skip hire
  • Roll-on-roll-off (RoRo) container hire
  • Grab loader hire
  • Trade waste services

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join an established waste and recycling business in a genuinely pure new-business-focused position. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and targeting new commercial customers across London, Essex and the surrounding areas, developing relationships with key decision-makers and converting new opportunities into profitable business.

This is a hunter-style sales role, ideally suited to a proactive, target-driven salesperson who enjoys generating their own leads, opening doors and winning new accounts rather than managing an existing portfolio. You will be responsible for building your own pipeline, generating leads, arranging meetings, presenting the company's services and negotiating new contracts. You will work closely with internal sales and operational teams to ensure a smooth transition from prospect to customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect and secure new commercial customers across London, Essex and surrounding areas
  • Generate new business through proactive outbound sales, networking, referrals and market research
