A fast-growing technology company is seeking a Technical Consultant to support its continued expansion. This hybrid role is based in Newcastle, requiring one/two days per week in the office, with only occasional travel. This role will act as a key bridge between sales, product, and engineering teams. You’ll play a vital role in the pre-sales process, engaging with clients to understand their needs, demonstrate technical solutions, and guide integration and onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with prospective clients to explore technical needs and align solutions with their business strategies.
- Present solution overviews and lead technical sessions that highlight core product functionality and integration benefits.
- Craft solution approaches tailored to each client’s technical landscape and compliance requirements.
- Support implementation teams and clients during integration, offering hands-on technical assistance.
- Manage technical onboarding activities and deliver continued support to ensure long-term customer success.
- Build rapport with client stakeholders, fostering trust and maintaining open lines of communication throughout the engagement.
- Continuously research and analyse industry movements, technological advancements, and market competitors.
- Promote adherence to security best practices and contribute to the organisation’s information security initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or similar role.
- Strong technical foundation, particularly with AWS, cloud computing, and SaaS platforms.
- Understanding of web development environments.
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience delivering product demos and technical proposals.
