The Opportunity:
Are you a developer who loves solving real-world problems with elegant code? Do you want to build modern, cloud-first applications using the latest Microsoft technologies, and actually see your work make an impact? Our Client is growing their engineering team in Leeds and looking for a Software Developer who’s ready to take ownership, work collaboratively, and shape solutions that genuinely make a difference. If you’re confident in your C# / .NET skills, excited by Azure, and looking for a team that values innovation as much as delivery, this is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Build cloud-native applications using C#, .NET 6+, and Azure services
- Shape system design and architecture alongside senior engineers
- Write clean, modern, testable code, and help set the standard for best practices
- Get hands-on with Azure App Services, Functions, SQL, and DevOps pipelines
- Collaborate closely with product, QA, and DevOps to deliver smooth, scalable releases
- Explore new tools, automate where it makes sense, and continuously improve the way we build
You’ll join a team that genuinely enjoys what they do, smart, down-to-earth developers who share knowledge freely and aren’t afraid to challenge ideas to make the work better.
What We’re Looking For:
You don’t need to tick every box, but if most of these sound like you, we’d love to talk:
- Strong commercial experience with C# / .NET Core / .NET 6+
- Confident working with Microsoft Azure (Functions, App Services, Key Vault, SQL, etc.)
- Understanding of REST APIs, integration, and clean architecture principles
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)
- Comfortable with Git, agile practices, and working collaboratively in a hybrid setup
Bonus points if you’ve dabbled with:
- React, Blazor, or other front-end tech
- Docker or Kubernetes
- Azure certifications
Here’s what’s offered beyond a payslip:
- Hybrid balance that works — 3 days in our modern Leeds office, 2 from wherever you work best
- Training & certifications — we’ll fund Microsoft and Azure exams
- Genuine progression — we grow our people, not just our headcount
- Supportive culture — approachable leaders, zero ego, and a team that has each other’s backs
- Perks that matter — private healthcare, pension, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), and regular team socials
What Our Developers Say:
“It’s refreshing to work somewhere that actually listens to devs. We use the right tools for the job, and there’s real space to learn and improve every sprint.”
