Software Engineer in Manchester

Software Engineer (Angular)Position at Candour Solutions located in Manchester City Centre, with hybrid work (2 days WFH). We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong Angular experience to join a growing product‐focused team building predominantly application‐based solutions. This is a hands‐on role where you will work on meaningful features, improve existing systems, and drive forward modern, scalable applications.

What You\’ll Be Doing

Building and enhancing Angular‐based applications

Working closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver clean, intuitive solutions

Developing scalable, maintainable front‐end architecture

Contributing ideas around digital transformation and modernisation

Taking ownership of features from concept through to delivery

Continuously improving performance, UX, and code quality

What We\’re Looking For

Commercial experience as a Software Engineer / Angular Developer

Strong knowledge of Angular and TypeScript

Experience developing application‐focused products

Solid understanding of front‐end best practices

A proactive mindset – positive, curious, and ready to take on challenges

Nice to Have

Experience with digitalisation / digital transformation projects

Exposure to modern DevOps, CI/CD, or cloud‐based environments

Interest in improving legacy systems and processes

Any experience working in product‐led or agile teams
