We are looking for an experienced Senior Dev Ops Engineer to join a growing Agile engineering team.
This role will focus on supporting and maintaining existing cloud infrastructure, whilst also contributing to the design and development of modern, scalable, and high-performing infrastructure solutions.
Team players are essential for us, as this position will include supporting the wider Dev Ops team by mentoring colleagues, sharing knowledge, and helping to build confidence across technical areas.
You will also contribute to planning complex technical work, breaking down deliverables into manageable tasks, and supporting the team in managing uncertainty.
In addition, we are looking for someone to play a key role in improving Dev Ops practices, bringing experience in infrastructure testing, Terraform best practices, Infrastructure as Code (Ia C), and introducing alternative technologies where appropriate.
You will work across a range of AWS technologies, supporting infrastructure hosted on services including ASGs, ECS, RDS Aurora My SQL, MSK, Elasti Cache, S3, and Redshift Spectrum.

- The Essentials
- Experience managing live production environments, including incidents, production changes, and new system rollouts
- Highly proficient with Terraform, particularly within large-scale environments
- Experience designing and creating reusable Terraform modules
- Strong familiarity with Bash/Shell scripting
- Awareness of cloud costs and cost visibility
- Experience deploying and maintaining PHP systems, including PHP 7 and PHP 8
