My client is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our Manchester-based internal IT team, supporting users, colleagues and developing technical skills in a collaborative, people-first environment. The team offers a supportive environment with clear opportunities for progression and development for the right person.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for day-to-day issues relating to hardware, software, desktops, and user access.
  • Troubleshoot and support Windows OS, Microsoft 365, printers, and general desktop environments.
  • Support users remotely and onsite.
  • Escalate and assist with more complex issues relating to software, desktops and hardware.

What we’re looking for...

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active directory and basic networking.
  • Previous experience in a 1st / 2nd Line IT Support role (internal IT or MSP environment).
  • Someone who is keen to learn, develop and grow technically.
