My client is looking for an experienced Azure Technical Consultant to join a growing technology team delivering cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions for customers across a range of sectors.
This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll be involved in designing, deploying, migrating and supporting Azure environments, working closely with customers and internal technical teams.
What you’ll be doing
- Design and deliver Microsoft Azure infrastructure solutions
- Deploy and configure Azure compute, storage and PaaS services
- Design and troubleshoot Azure networking, including VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN, Bastion and ExpressRoute
- Support on premises to Azure migrations and hybrid environments
- Implement Azure Backup and Site Recovery
- Configure Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC and privileged access controls
- Implement Azure governance and security, including Azure Policy, Management Groups and tagging
- Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using PowerShell
- Build infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform or Bicep
- Participate in customer workshops, discovery sessions and technical meetings
What are we looking for?
- Experience delivering Azure infrastructure and cloud-focused projects.
- Good understanding of Azure networking, including VPN, ExpressRoute and Virtual
- Networks.
- Knowledge of Azure security services, including Defender, Entra ID, RBAC and PIM.
- Experience working with Azure compute, storage and platform services.
- Awareness of Infrastructure as Code methodologies using Terraform, Bicep or similar tools.
- Experience using PowerShell and automation technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across Azure and hybrid environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical
- stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a wider consultancy team.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
