This organisation is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with a background in Service Desk operations to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the stability, performance, and ongoing improvement of on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
  • Acting as a technical escalation point for the Service Desk, resolving complex or high-impact issues.
  • Managing core infrastructure services, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Entra Connect, and Group Policy.
  • Administering identity, access, and security controls across the organisation.
  • Maintaining virtualisation, remote access, and application hosting platforms such as Hyper-V, RDS, and IIS.
  • Supporting and enhancing Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online hybrid environments.
  • Managing device and application policies through Intune MDM.
  • Ensuring reliable network operations, including VLAN configuration, DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP troubleshooting.
  • Delivering support for business applications, Office apps, hardware, and bespoke systems.
  • Using PowerShell and other tooling to automate routine tasks and optimise processes.
  • Contributing to documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of infrastructure practices.
