Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the stability, performance, and ongoing improvement of on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
- Acting as a technical escalation point for the Service Desk, resolving complex or high-impact issues.
- Managing core infrastructure services, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Entra Connect, and Group Policy.
- Administering identity, access, and security controls across the organisation.
- Maintaining virtualisation, remote access, and application hosting platforms such as Hyper-V, RDS, and IIS.
- Supporting and enhancing Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online hybrid environments.
- Managing device and application policies through Intune MDM.
- Ensuring reliable network operations, including VLAN configuration, DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP troubleshooting.
- Delivering support for business applications, Office apps, hardware, and bespoke systems.
- Using PowerShell and other tooling to automate routine tasks and optimise processes.
- Contributing to documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of infrastructure practices.
