We’re looking for an experienced SDET with strong C# skills and a passion for building scalable, maintainable automation frameworks from the ground up. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of automation within a growing engineering team and play a key role in shaping quality engineering practices. You’ll be the primary Automation Framework Developer, working closely with a Lead Test Engineer who will help define testing strategy and direction, alongside a Lead Architect supporting technical design and best practices. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on framework development, solving complex automation challenges, and driving quality through robust engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using C#
- Build scalable UI and API automation solutions from scratch
- Create robust automated test suites for web applications and services
- Work collaboratively with QA, Development, and Architecture teams
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to test strategy, tooling, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support defect investigation and root cause analysis
- Promote automation best practices across the engineering team
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven commercial experience with C# automation testing
- Strong experience in UI Automation Testing
- Strong experience in API Automation Testing
- Demonstrable experience building automation frameworks from the ground up
- Experience with REST API testing using RestSharp
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Experience using Azure DevOps
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of test automation architecture and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desirable Skills
- Experience working within Agile environments
- Knowledge of performance or security testing
- Exposure to cloud-based environments
