How to prepare for a job interview at Candour

Know Your Tech Inside Out

Make sure you brush up on your C# and .NET skills before the interview. Be ready to discuss specific projects where you've implemented AI solutions, as well as any challenges you faced and how you overcame them. This will show that you're not just a strategist but also someone who can get hands-on with the tech.

Showcase Your Problem-Solving Skills

Prepare examples of complex problems you've solved in previous roles, especially those involving AI architecture or modernising legacy systems. Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure your answers, making it easy for the interviewer to see your thought process and impact.

Familiarise Yourself with Azure AI Services

Since the role involves working extensively with Azure, make sure you understand its AI services and how they can be integrated into applications. You might be asked about specific use cases or how you've leveraged cloud-native technologies in past projects, so having this knowledge will give you an edge.

Communicate Effectively with Stakeholders

Strong communication skills are key for this role. Think about times when you've had to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Practise articulating your ideas clearly and confidently, as this will demonstrate your ability to manage relationships and drive projects forward.
