Candour Talent are recruiting a Financial Controller to join their client’s team in the Swansea area.
- Employment Type: Full Time/Permanent
- Working Hours: 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, 30 mins lunch break

Our client is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team in the Swansea area. Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will join a manufacturing business that has experienced steady and sustained growth. You will be responsible for a small team and play a pivotal role in developing and implementing processes and procedures following the introduction of a new ERP system. This is an excellent opportunity, which comes with a range of benefits and long-term development.
The Role:
- Take an active part in designing how the new ERP will operate
- Understand and update existing processes
- Improve existing reporting routine and develop new reporting processes
- Design and implement Budgeting and Forecasting routines
- Train and coach existing team members on new ways of working in ERP
- Work with the existing finance team to streamline financial reporting timetables
- Work with wider teams to develop and improve KPI reporting & accuracy
- Help develop existing team members
- Take an active part within the wider finance team during busy periods e.g. year end
- Ad-hoc reconciliations and analysis
The Ideal Candidate:
- ACCA / CIMA / ACA or QBE
- Experience of working in a FMCG Manufacturing environment
- Experience of implementing new IT systems & processes
- Experience of change management
- Experience of people management and team development
- Excellent IT Skills
- Logical and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills
