Quality Technician (Aerospace)

Overview

Candour Talent is recruiting a Quality Technician (Aerospace) for a client based in Newport.

Employment type: Permanent/Full Time
Working hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: Negotiable DOE

Responsibilities

• Maintaining strict adherence to AS9100 traceability, regulatory compliance, and documented quality processes
• Create and verify AS9102 FAIR reports in line with the latest revision
• Create Forms 1, 2, and 3 independently, using customer data packs, drawings, and internal ERP system
• Understand and interpret PCB and Mechanical Drawings
• Follow the AS9100 traceability requirements
• Verify balloon drawing notes using an acceptable method and record results and controls used
• Understand concessions and verify where they are applicable

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in a similar Quality Technician role in the Aerospace industry
• Demonstrable experience with AS9102 FAIRs
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
