Job Details
- Employment Type: Full Time/Permanent
- Working Hours: 3-shift pattern (mornings, afternoons, nights), may be required to work a continental shift pattern at a higher shift allowance (4on, 4off)
- Salary: £33 - 35k (Basic rate + Shift Allowance)
Our client is looking for a reliable and hard-working Production Operator to join their team on a permanent basis. This role would suit a self-motivated individual with previous experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Set machinery and use handheld instruments to manufacture (full training provided)
- Work to specified dimensions and to the correct quality and quantity
- Complete and record quality checks
- Follow the production schedule
- Keep track of materials to ensure no disruption to production
- Basic machine maintenance
- Work as part of a team
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
- Good standard of basic education
- Further vocational qualifications, an advantage
- Able to work in an organised manner
- Able to follow health and safety guidelines
