Candour Talent are currently recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our client based in Cwmbran.

  • Location: Cwmbran
  • Employment Type: Permanent/Full Time
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday
  • Salary: £35-40k
  • Benefits: Excellent, including company pension, 25+8 days annual leave, ongoing training and development opportunities, and discount scheme.

An exciting full-time and permanent opportunity for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business. The successful candidate will provide planned and reactive maintenance support to the production team, as well as supporting with engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role:

  • Follow a Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme
  • Timely and effective fault finding and emergency repairs in response to any breakdowns
  • Support with continuous improvement initiatives to reduce production downtime
  • Support with movement, installation, and repositioning of machinery
  • Support with facilities maintenance, as required
  • Follow all H&S and compliance standards

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent electrical fault-finding experience, ideally in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with mechanical, and pneumatic fault-finding and maintenance.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications
