Candour Talent are recruiting a Care Coordinator to join their client’s team in Cardiff.
- Employment Type: Full Time/Permanent
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
- On call: None
- Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Benefits: Weekly pay, free blue light card, pension scheme, 6 weeks annual leave
The ideal candidate is an experienced Domiciliary Care Co-ordinator and will be office based in Cardiff. This is a full-time, permanent position and you will need to have proven hands-on experience in large-scale domiciliary care rostering (house-to-house services).
Essential Experience & Requirements (Non-Negotiable):
- Previous experience in a domiciliary care co-ordinator / scheduler role
- Experience managing high-volume rotas of 3,000 care hours per week
- Specific experience in domiciliary care home-to-home rostering is essential
- Supported Living experience will not be suitable for this role
- Care home / residential rostering experience alone will also not be suitable
- Confident managing complex rotas, staff availability, travel time planning, and service continuity
- Experience working within a regulated care environment and understanding compliance expectations
- Strong communication skills, resilience, and the ability to work at pace in a busy operations environment
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential)
This role requires a highly organised and experienced scheduler who understands the operational realities of house-to-house domiciliary care and can maintain safe, efficient coverage at scale.
