Preparing Machine for daily use

Inspecting machines for safety use

Training and assisting new staff on these roles

Operating mechanical or computer-operated equipment

Knowledgeable on fault finding and problem solving

Machine operator will be expected to work across all departments

The role requires to be trained on both single ,multi-wrap machines ,CD5 and bagging machine

Working with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order

Observing and following company safety regulations

Read all relevant SOP’s

Accurately and legibly complete documentation associated with this role

Carry out basic maintenance (changing cello, clear jams or blockages etc.)

Clear blockages on weighing head

Alter day codes on bagging machines

Monitor product exiting the machine

Adjust tracking cello

Calculate the machine running speed

Machine operators must be competent in shop floor role

Carry out cleaning tasks directed by the key-operator

Follow ‘clean -as-you-go’ principles to ensure the surrounding area is clean and tidy at all times

Attend and be receptive to any training required for this role
