Job Description – Technical Consultant (EUC / Infrastructure)
We are now very excited to grow that team further by hiring a Technical Consultant who specialises
in EUC & Infrastructure. In this role you will work with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative
solutions, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and quality of work.
What will you be doing?
• Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions, including networks, servers, storage, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Conduct on-site installation and configuration of hardware, including servers, networking devices, and storage systems.
• Prepare clear and comprehensive technical documentation, such as configuration guides, infrastructure diagrams, and project handover materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver infrastructure solutions that meet client expectations and project timelines.

What are we looking for?
The right person for this role will have significant experience in this sector and will have a deep
understanding of End User computing (EUC), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) deployment and
physical infrastructure.
Key Skills:
• Deep understanding of End User computing (EUC), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) deployment and physical infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory
• Proficient in VMware and Citrix
• Experience with deploying, racking, and cabling servers, networking, and storage hardware
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues efficiently
Practical stuff
Where is the role based?
Primary location is our HQ in Pocklington (YO42) but this role can be remote with occasional visits to
the HQ and to customers
How many interviews?
Following a screen with the Recruitment Team you can expect a two-stage interview process, one
online and one in-person.
