The predicted salary is between 42000 - 84000 £ per year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior / Lead QA with prior experience managing QA and Automation Engineers. You will be looking after a team of 5 QAs and supporting the implementation of an automation framework, so you must have hands-on experience in Automation.
Responsibilities will include:
- Draw upon your experience to lead the building and maintenance of an automation framework, taking ownership of key decisions related to the environment and implementation strategy.
- Lead & mentor QA and Automation Engineers.
- Collaborate with the Head of Development, Software engineering manager, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Implement and maintain automated test suites for functional testing, regression testing, API, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with development teams to resolve them.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and release management activities to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in software testing and automation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of tests.
Experience required:
- Hands-on experience in automated API testing.
- Experience in Test Plan preparation, estimation, and status reporting.
- Experience writing performance tests identifying areas of improvement across a platform.
- Experience in Manual testing (UAT/System/Regression).
- Working knowledge of CI/CD.
- Working knowledge of Cloud platforms.
- Version control (Git).
- Prior experience in mentoring/leading more junior members of the team.
