Theyre looking for an experienced Backend Systems Developer to join the team and play a key role in developing and improving the integrations that underpin their digital platform.
This is a great opportunity to work on business-critical systems where performance, scalability and reliability are essential. Youll be responsible for developing backend services that connect customer-facing applications with warehouse, ERP, finance and wider operational platforms, supporting the accurate and efficient movement of millions of data points every day.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain backend integrations between digital platforms and core business systems, including warehouse, ERP and finance solutions.
- Build scalable middleware to support order processing, inventory synchronisation and real-time data exchange.
- Create and maintain REST APIs and event-driven integrations across multiple systems.
- Implement queue-based processing to support high-volume asynchronous workloads.
- Improve system resilience through retry mechanisms, circuit breakers and fault-tolerant design.
- Work closely with engineers, product teams and operational stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
- Contribute to engineering standards and best practice through code reviews, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
- Develop modern, cloud-ready services using clean, maintainable and scalable architecture.
