Overview
A fast-growing global SaaS company is looking for a Junior Software Developer to join their team in York. You will work in a collaborative, team-focused environment with opportunities for growth.
Your Role
As a Junior Software Developer, you’ll collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and systems engineers to design, develop, and maintain modern software applications.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with the team to understand user needs and build effective solutions.
- Write, maintain, test, and document clean, reliable code.
- Play a key role in developing and improving our platforms, tools, and services.
- Be involved in the full development lifecycle, from design to production deployment.
Qualifications
- 1+ years’ experience in a similar development role.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred but not essential).
- A passion for learning, problem-solving, and working collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Experience with AWS services (DynamoDB, SQS, S3, Lambda).
- Unit testing experience.
