IT Infrastructure & System Administrator
Job Title: IT Infrastructure & System Administrator
Location: Bradford (On-site)
Work Pattern: Full-time, On-site (with travel to Warrington once per week)
I\’m currently working with a well-established and fast-growing technology business that is looking for a capable and adaptable IT Infrastructure & System Administrator to join its technical team. This role is suited to someone with solid infrastructure experience who is comfortable operating across a mix of hands-on support, systems management, and project delivery.
You’ll be responsible for supporting internal users across multiple UK sites, maintaining the core IT infrastructure, and contributing to ongoing improvements in system performance and security. The role is primarily based in Bradford, with a requirement to work from a sister site in Warrington once per week — therefore, a valid UK driving licence is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage Windows Server and Ubuntu Server environments.
- Administer and support Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Configure and troubleshoot Meraki and/or Unifi networks.
- Support virtualisation platforms such as Proxmox and Hyper-V.
- Deliver 1st to 3rd line technical support across the organisation.
- Provide day-to-day support for internal ecommerce systems.
- Assist with IT infrastructure upgrades, security initiatives, and project work.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in server administration (Windows and Linux).
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 management.
- Hands-on networking skills, especially with Meraki and Unifi solutions.
- Exposure to virtualisation technologies such as Proxmox and Hyper-V.
- Broad technical support background covering 1st to 3rd line issues.
- Familiarity with ecommerce environments is advantageous but not essential.
