IT Support Engineer – £30,000 DoE – Manchester

Alongside day-to-day support responsibilities, you’ll also gain valuable project experience, particularly with the integration of a newly acquired business and the transition of its IT infrastructure in-house.
This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week onsite at the company’s Manchester office and 2 days working from home (post-probation).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1st and 2nd line support to users, resolving a wide range of IT issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking problems.
- Administer and support the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Set up and manage user accounts, access permissions, and support onboarding/offboarding.
- Build, configure, and maintain hardware such as laptops and desktops.
- Assist with IT projects, including the in-house integration of a newly acquired business.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset registers, and internal knowledge bases.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a 1st and/or 2nd line IT support role.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS and DHCP.
- Hands-on experience supporting and configuring hardware.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
