Front-End Developer – Hybrid (2 days on-site in Wigan)
Salary: Up to ÂŁ45,000 DOE
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
A leading company in Wigan is seeking a talented Front-End Developer to join its growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create responsive, high-performing web applications and deliver outstanding user experiences in a collaborative environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will work closely with designers, back-end developers, and product teams to bring digital projects to life. They will be responsible for developing clean, accessible, and visually appealing interfaces that perform seamlessly across devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement modern frameworks and libraries such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Collaborate with designers to produce pixel-perfect UI/UX.
- Optimise front-end applications for speed, performance, and accessibility.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain front-end codebases.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging web technologies and best practices.
Candidate Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with at least one front-end framework (React preferred).
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and passion for delivering excellent user experiences.
- Experience with TypeScript or Next.js.
- Understanding of RESTful API integrations.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Up to ÂŁ45,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.
- Flexible working, and 1 day a week on site in Wigan.
