PLC Engineer – Preston (onsite) with flexible start and finish times – £50,000-£80,000 DOE
We’re looking for a hands‑on PLC Electrical Technician to join our clients team. This role demands strong electrical troubleshooting capabilities and a solid understanding of industrial automation systems. If you have experience working with Allen Bradley PLCs—particularly ladder logic—you’ll hit the ground running. While machine vision and robotics experience are a plus, they are more than ready to invest in your training if you bring the right electrical skills to the table.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues involving motors, sensors, and automation systems
- Program, debug, and modify Allen Bradley PLCs (primarily ladder logic)
- Maintain safety standards and implement best practices across electrical systems
- Support continuous improvement and preventative maintenance projects
- Strong background in electrical troubleshooting in industrial settings
- Hands‑on experience with PLCs—especially Allen Bradley and ladder logic
