Our client is a rapidly growing Law firm that is looking for an ambitious and self-motivated Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join them. The firm specialise in Property Litigation & Landlord and tenant matters. This position is focused on dealing with both a contentious and non-contentious caseload. The role involves conducting legal research and providing support to the fee earners within the practice, ensuring all duties are completed accurately, promptly and efficiently.

Knowledge & Skills Required:
  • The successful candidate will have at least 6 months experience in a litigation based role drafting legal claims/court documents and have good knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and Civil Claims.
  • Experience within leasehold block management is also preferable.
  • You will be a self-starter and possess excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to work within a confidential environment.
  • The successful candidate will also possess a strong academic background and will preferably have or be working towards a relevant legal qualification.
  • Other prerequisites include good Microsoft skills (particularly Word and Excel), the ability to work on own initiative and both fast and accurately under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • They will also have a flexible, supportive and co-operative approach to work.
