*Job summary*
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Wetherby, West Yorkshire to find a Registered Veterinary Nurse. This is a full-time, day-shift role within a specialist feline referral centre treating hyperthyroid cats.
*Responsibilities*
- Provide nursing care, monitoring and medication for inpatient feline patients undergoing specialist treatment.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist during recovery and discharge.
- Communicate with owners regarding pre- and post-treatment care and provide clear written and verbal instructions.
*Hours and rota*
- Full-time role with typical daytime hours (9:00–17:00).
- Weekends are covered on a rota basis; days off in lieu are provided.
*Requirements*
- Current RCVS registration as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a caring approach to feline patients.
*Team and development*
- Work within a focused multidisciplinary team caring for cats referred for specialist treatment.
- Access to ongoing training and development relevant to feline medicine and specialist nursing.
