Job Description We are seeking an experienced and hands-on QA Supervisor in Gravesend.
The successful candidate will lead the QA/QC team, oversee product quality and ensure high food safety standards are maintained across production.
The ideal candidate will have previous QA, QC or Technical experience within food production, with strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety and quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the QA/QC team to maintain high quality and food safety standards.
- Oversee quality checks on fresh-cut fruit, including appearance, freshness, weight, packaging and labelling.
- Ensure products meet company, customer and legal requirements.
- Monitor production processes and identify, investigate and resolve quality and food safety issues.
- Review QA records, production checks, temperature records and traceability documentation.
- Manage non-conformances, corrective actions and product deviations.
- Conduct internal audits, inspections and hygiene checks.
- Ensure HACCP, food safety, hygiene, allergen and health & safety procedures are followed.
- Work closely with Production and Management to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
- Train and support QA/QC staff on quality and food safety procedures.
- Support customer complaints, external audits and certification inspections.
- Promote continuous improvement, product quality and a strong food safety culture. Candidate Requirements
- Previous QA, QC or Technical experience in food production or manufacturing.
- Previous supervisory or team-lead experience.
- Experience in fresh produce or fresh-cut fruit is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP.
- Food Hygiene and Safety certification is essential or highly desirable. What We Offer
