We are seeking an experienced, commercially focused and process-driven Procurement Manager to manage purchasing and supplier operations for a hotel business in Southampton. The ideal candidate will have 56 years of procurement experience, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry, with strong expertise in supplier sourcing, negotiation, cost control and procurement process improvement. Key Responsibilities * Manage end-to-end procurement across hotel operations. * Source food and beverage supplies, housekeeping products, amenities, maintenance materials and equipment. * Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms and service agreements with suppliers. * Develop clear purchasing procedures and approved supplier processes. * Monitor supplier performance, product quality, delivery standards and contractual compliance. * Control procurement budgets, stock levels, waste and operational expenditure. * Prepare cost comparisons, purchasing reports and supplier-performance reviews. * Work closely with finance, operations, housekeeping, maintenance and food and beverage teams. * Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service. * Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant UK regulations. Candidate Requirements * Approximately 56 years of procurement experience. * Hotel or hospitality procurement experience is strongly preferred. * Proven experience in supplier management, contract negotiation and cost control. * Highly organised, analytical and process-oriented. * Strong commercial awareness, communication and negotiation skills. * Confident using procurement systems, Microsoft Excel and reporting tools. * Relevant procurement, supply-chain, business or hospitality qualification is desirable. * CIPS qualification would be advantageous. * Must currently be based in the UK, preferably near Southampton, or be willing to relocate. What We Offer * Salary of £40,000£50,000, depending on experience. * Permanent opportunity with responsibility for improving procurement performance. * Relocation to Southampton will be considered. * Skilled Worker visa sponsorship may be available for an exceptional candidate who meets the relevant requirements.
