We are now seeking a driven and customer‑focused Account Manager to join our Telford team. About The Role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining, developing and growing our existing customer base, including key clients across the region. You’ll act as the main point of contact, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service while identifying opportunities to maximise account value and support business growth. This role is ideal for someone who can combine commercial awareness with outstanding communication skills and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and strengthen long‑term relationships with clients to ensure service excellence and customer retention.
- Communicate regularly with customers to understand their goals, challenges and operational needs.
- Analyse sales data, customer feedback and service performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, transport and commercial) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare and lead client meetings and presentations, confidently showcasing our services.
- Track industry trends and competitor activity to inform account strategies.
- Contribute to revenue growth by identifying upsell opportunities and promoting additional services.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in account management, sales or a client‑facing commercial role (preferably within a service‑led or operational environment).
- Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
- Confident, collaborative and able to build trust quickly with clients and colleagues.
