Business development manager – Required for this luxury hotel group, who need and experience BDM/Account manager to represent and grow awareness in the travel trade for their product. You will be covering the Midlands and North. Salary up to 45k plus benefits. Experience wise they are looking for a BDM from the travel industry, a background within hotels, cruise would be ideal, contacts within the travel agency world would be ideal.
Business development managers duties
-3 or 4 days on the road, visiting new and existing travel agencies to grow awareness of the companies brand and products
-Training staff, agreeing new commercial terms, organising fam trips and attending numerous travel events and trade shows
-Targeting 10 to 15 visits per week
-Identify new travel agents, concierge desks and luxury specialists
-Analyse market trends and competitor activity
-Provide monthly reports on sales performance
Business developments managers skills required
– Business development managers experience within the travel industry, ideally targeting luxury travel agencies
-Based within the midlands, Northern England or Southern Scotland
-Ideally from a hotel or cruise background but they are open to other areas or travel
-Clean UK driving license
