Responsibilities:
- Carry out day-to-day planning to cover staff absenteeism.
- Make continuous improvements to rotas to increase their effectiveness, for example, reducing travel time between visits and providing continuity of care to our clients.
- Work with the Team Leaders for your areas to ensure you are coordinating Care & Support Workers and services efficiently and effectively.
- Effectively manage staff availability to maximise capacity requirements.
- Minimise the volume of unallocated visits (standard weeks) to within the agreed branch target and to ensure all work handed back is reallocated in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up to date information on Access and Pairly in respect of live client and staff data, including all changes to client and staff information, as well as ensuring all relevant people (including clients) are updated.
- Develop good relationships with community staff, liaise with clients and Partners/Stakeholders/Commissioners in a professional manner, and deliver excellent customer service.
Desirable Attributes:
- Experience in care or as a coordinator previously.
- Experience of working to tight deadlines and meeting targets.
- Good analytical thinker.
- Good geographical knowledge of the local area.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office, and similar equipment and programs.
- Experience using rostering software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility and reliability.
- Honesty and respect for confidentiality.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
