Candlelight Care are seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individuals to join our dedicated and friendly, family‑run team, supporting vulnerable adults in the comfort of their own homes within Wincanton and the surrounding areas. Opportunities are available for both full and part‑time Care and Support Workers, with typical shift patterns from 7am – 2pm and/or 4pm up to 10pm. A commitment to working alternate weekends is required; driving is not always essential depending on location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional and practical support to clients.
  • Assist with personal care – washing, toileting, dressing and domestic household tasks.
  • Prepare food tailored to each individual’s needs.
  • Administer medication and use mobility aids where required.
  • Report significant changes in health or circumstances to the Registered Manager.
  • Act in the best interests of clients, protecting and safeguarding their wellbeing.
