Candlelight Care is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individuals to join our dedicated and friendly, family‑run team, supporting vulnerable adults in the comfort of their own homes within Ringmer and the surrounding areas. We currently have opportunities for both full and part‑time Care and Support Workers. Our typical shift patterns run from 7am – 2pm and/or 4pm up to 10pm. We also ask for a commitment to working alternate weekends. Driving may not be required depending on location.
Key Responsibilities of a Care Support Worker
- Get to know your clients and their interests and needs.
- Give emotional and practical support, assist with personal care (washing, toileting, dressing), domestic household tasks, and food preparation, all tailored to each individual's needs.
- Assist with medication, use of mobility aids and personal equipment where required.
- Report to the Registered Manager any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a client.
