Lead a Service That Makes a Genuine Difference
An established and growing provider of 16+ Supported Accommodation is looking to appoint an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to oversee and develop their semi independent living service in South West London. This is an opportunity for an experienced manager who is passionate about safeguarding, positive outcomes and helping young people transition successfully into independence. The organisation supports care experienced young people, asylum seekers and young parents through a holistic, person centred and trauma informed approach.
The Role
You will be responsible for the leadership, compliance and operational oversight of the service, ensuring young people receive high quality support within safe and nurturing environments. You will work closely with senior leadership to maintain high standards, support staff development and drive continuous improvement across the provision.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day to day running of the service
- Register with Ofsted as Registered Manager where required
- Ensure compliance with Supported Accommodation Regulations and safeguarding standards
- Lead, support and develop staff teams
- Oversee support plans, risk assessments and placement stability
- Maintain strong relationships with local authorities and external professionals
- Lead on audits, quality assurance and service improvement
- Promote positive outcomes, independence and emotional wellbeing for young people
Requirements
- Experience within Supported Accommodation, Semi Independent Living or Residential Children’s Services
- Leadership or management experience within children’s services
- Strong safeguarding and compliance knowledge
- Good understanding of Ofsted and Supported Accommodation Regulations
- Passionate about improving outcomes for young people
- Level 5 qualification desirable but not essential
