We are seeking a Residential Support Worker or Senior Residential Support Worker to join a children’s residential service in Croydon. Responsibilities
- Supporting children and young people with daily routines, education and independence
- Building positive and trusting relationships
- Promoting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
- Safeguarding and advocating for young people
- Completing daily records and care documentation
- Working alongside families and external professionals
- Leading shifts and supporting colleagues (Senior Support Worker)
Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, Health
- Previous experience within a children’s residential setting
- Good understanding of safeguarding and childcare legislation
- Positive, resilient and child-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence desirable
