The home supports young people with emotional and behavioural needs within a stable, therapeutic and relationship focused environment.

What the role involves:

  • Supporting young people with day to day routines, education and activities
  • Building positive and consistent relationships
  • Promoting safeguarding, structure and emotional wellbeing
  • Supporting young people with behaviours in a calm and professional manner
  • Working closely with a supportive leadership team
  • Completing daily reports and care documentation

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Health & Social Care, Children & Young People or equivalent is essential
  • Previous residential childcare or support work experience preferred
  • Passion for helping young people progress and achieve positive outcomes
  • Reliable, resilient and team focused attitude
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • DBS on the Update Service preferred, or willing to apply for a new Enhanced DBS check
