The home supports young people with emotional and behavioural needs within a stable, therapeutic and relationship focused environment.
What the role involves:
- Supporting young people with day to day routines, education and activities
- Building positive and consistent relationships
- Promoting safeguarding, structure and emotional wellbeing
- Supporting young people with behaviours in a calm and professional manner
- Working closely with a supportive leadership team
- Completing daily reports and care documentation
Requirements:
- Level 3 Health & Social Care, Children & Young People or equivalent is essential
- Previous residential childcare or support work experience preferred
- Passion for helping young people progress and achieve positive outcomes
- Reliable, resilient and team focused attitude
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- DBS on the Update Service preferred, or willing to apply for a new Enhanced DBS check
