The role:
- Support students displaying challenging behaviour, SEMH needs or barriers to learning
- Build positive and trusting relationships with students through a consistent and nurturing approach
- Work on a one to one basis and in small groups to improve engagement, attendance and behaviour
- Support students with emotional regulation, conflict resolution and social development
- Act as a positive role model and mentor throughout the school day
