If you are enthusiastic, well-motivated, with a flexible approach and you enjoy variety and a challenge, then come and join our team in Jubilee Infusion Lounge at Clacton hospital. We are currently recruiting into 1x 37.5 hours per week and 1x 30 hours per week roles. We provide a range of treatments to ensure patients in the Tendring area can have care closer to home. Experience in coordinating and knowledge and skills with infusions strongly desired; full training within this specialist area will be given.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling treatments, administering infusions, injections and treatments including PICC line and Portacath care in a busy day unit setting.
- Some treatments are complex and include the administration of chemotherapy and blood products and other intravenous regimens.
- You will be part of a small highly skilled team, responsible for a wide remit of patients with sometimes complex care needs.
- You will have the opportunity to develop a range of transferable skills to enable the provision of high quality, patient-focused care in a fast changing, supportive and friendly environment.
- To meet the needs of the Trust with regard to induction, mandatory and statutory training.
- To work within the framework for clinical governance to provide effective, high quality individualised nursing care to patients and relatives/carers and to contribute to the continuing development of nursing practice.
- To lead and ensure high standards of patient care at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines.
- To lead as an effective member of the nursing and wider multi-professional healthcare team.
- To work and ensure the wider team adhere to the Trust's Competency Framework for Registered Nurses, the Ward/Department Philosophy and the NMC Code of Conduct/Professional Standards for the Protection of Patients.

Your hours of work will be 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
