We are pleased to offer a job share opportunity for a Lead Practice Education Facilitator (Band 7) within our progressive and supportive Clinical Education Team at ESNEFT. This post is 0.4 WTE (15 hours per week) and is specifically offered as part of a job share arrangement, making it ideal for clinicians seeking a portfolio career, a balance between clinical practice and education, and flexible working alongside other roles or commitments.
Role and responsibilities
- Support high-quality multi-professional learning environments
- Provide guidance and development for practice supervisors, assessors and preceptors
- Enhance learner experience across pre- and post-registration pathways
- Work in partnership with clinical teams and education providers
- Contribute to service development, innovation and continuous improvement in practice education
You will be fully supported to ensure continuity, shared leadership and clear handover within the role.
Location and leadership
- Based primarily at our Colchester Hospital site, with the requirement to work flexibly across other ESNEFT sites.
- Provide leadership and support for practice education across nursing, AHP, and wider professions.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, inclusive learning environments for students, preceptors, assessors, and supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with Higher Education Institutions, NHS England, and other education providers.
- Champion inter-professional learning and promote excellence in practice education.
