We are recruiting on behalf of a brand-new nursery in Staines, looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead the launch and day-to-day operations of this exciting new setting. This is a unique opportunity to shape the nursery from the ground up, build a strong team, and create an outstanding early years environment for children and families.

Role Details:

  • Position: Nursery Manager
  • Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday
  • Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
  • Location: Staines, TW18
  • Qualification: Full and relevant Level 3 or above Childcare Qualification
  • Nursery opening hours: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the launch of the nursery, establishing high-quality standards from day one
  • Recruit, develop, and inspire a strong nursery team
  • Oversee EYFS curriculum implementation, ensuring an engaging learning environment
  • Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, invoicing, and fee collection
  • Build positive relationships with parents and the wider community
  • Ensure compliance with all safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted requirements
  • Monitor and improve nursery performance against key targets

What We’re Looking For:

  • An experienced Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager ready for the next step
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above qualification in childcare
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and nursery operations
  • Passion for building and developing a brand-new setting
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills
  • Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
