A well-established leader in their field is seeking an Office Manager to be at the heart of their brand-new office in Hitchin! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and thrives on taking initiative.
You will be at the heart of their operations, serving as the first point of contact for clients and the main support for the team. With a wide range of administrative and operational duties, including direct support for the Director, youll find that no two days are alike, making this a challenging and rewarding position.
This is a full-time role, working Monday-Friday, offering free onsite parking and a pension scheme.
As Office Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive personal assistant and administrative support to the Director.
- Handling and directing incoming calls and emails, acting as the primary point of contact for all queries.
- Coordinating PAT testing and other crucial equipment safety checks.
- Maintaining accurate office fire safety records and ensuring all certifications are up to date.
- Managing and processing all holiday requests and forms.
- Processing and submitting subcontractor timesheets.
- Managing office inventory and ordering stationery and supplies as needed.
- Overseeing and renewing our Public Liability Insurance.
- Setting up IT equipment, including phones and laptops, for new employees.
