A well-established business that is renowned for building networks in collaboration with several major leading telecommunications service providers is looking for a Motor Claims Handler to be the first line support & manage motor claims in relation to all company vehicle accidents by communicating with insurance companies, the 3rd party and Company drivers.
Along with a salary of £25,000 per annum, you will also receive:

As Motor Claims Handler, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing accident claim forms and related documents.
- Investigating circumstances of all accidents to determine insurance liability.
- Managing first notification of claims, fault & non-fault, from start to completion.
- Raising invoices on non-fault claims to send to third party insurers and raising payments on fault where the business has accepted liability.
- Daily communication with insurance companies, solicitors and all internal departments regarding ongoing claims.
- Managing claims where the business has offered its intervention services and following up with the suppliers.
- Arranging independent damage assessment of vehicles for insurance purposes.
- Inputting and maintaining accurate information on internal systems.
- Liaising with all sites to obtain outstanding accident forms and photographs of all vehicles involved in accidents, along with any further supporting documentation.
- Negotiating best possible settlement figures.
- Collating and producing relevant reports for presentation to management (regular reports Weekly Accident Summary)
- Answering calls from our company drivers to discuss accidents and any potential excess applied to them.
- Answering the 24-hour accident line during office hours.
- Actioning & responding to all written correspondence received regarding Road Traffic Accident claims

- Cert CII preferable (or working towards)
- Previous motor claim handling experience preferable
