Marketing Assistant in Tamworth, Staffordshire

A successful Manufacturing business in Tamworth is seeking an experienced Marketing Assistant to provide additional support to their Marketing and Sales Teams. Due to extensive growth, the business is looking to bring on board additional expertise within the Marketing function, providing operational support with the planning and execution of campaigns, maintaining the website, and managing the social media platforms. You will also provide administrative support to the Sales Team and be involved with following up on quotes/leads.

You will receive a salary of up to £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience, as well as 25 days annual leave plus public holidays, ongoing training and a supportive working environment.

As a Marketing Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring a busy sales inbox
• Building and maintaining successful Social Media Channels
• Supporting and managing a global network of distributors to achieve targets
• Maintenance of a CRM database with up-to-date customer and sales information.
• Preparing quotes and processing orders
• Supporting SEO, email marketing, and digital campaigns
• Coordinating the distribution of brochures, samples and other collateral
• Involvement in the planning and execution of Trade Shows and other events
• Providing administrative and operational support to the sales team
• Following up with customers/prospects following quotes

Were looking for a Marketing Assistant with the following:

• Previous experience in a sales support or marketing support role.
• Experience with CRM systems and digital marketing tools.
• Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and social media management tools.
• Strong communication skills to engage potential and/or customers effectively
• Confidence in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals
• Attention to detail
• Accurate data entry skills
• A strong interest in marketing

You will be working Monday-Thursday, 08:00-16:45, with a 30-minute lunch, and 08:3013:00 on a Friday. The role is office-based in Tamworth.
