One of the world’s leading international mail, shipping and distribution organisations is recruiting an International Trade Manager (e-commerce). You will be the subject matter expert for the operations and compliance for cross border e-commerce trade. You will work closely with a Duty & Customs compliance manager, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and laws.
THE ROLE:
The role offers wider opportunities to develop innovative cross border solutions, you will need to enjoy customer contact, managing supplier relations, trainingand detail investigations. This includes:
– Investigate irregularities
– Systems architecture and processes management
– Support transhipment MOU
– Manage duties and tax claims
– SOP drafting for processes relating to International Trade
– Review and make recommendations on pending regulatory changes
– Identify commercial and efficiency opportunities.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
– Recent experience in Customs and Duty’s
– Strong systems, data analytics and administration expertise
– Good commercial acumen
– Good relationship management skills
– Experience in e-commerce distribution and commercial clearance is an advantage.
