In the intricate world of financial services, the role of Company Secretary is pivotal. Our client, a respected entity in the insurance sector, is seeking a seasoned professional to lead and enhance their governance framework. This position offers the opportunity to be at the heart of corporate decision-making, ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability. You will benefit from the opportunity to shape the governance landscape of a dynamic insurance organisation. This is a hybrid role, working 2/3 times per month in the office.
As Company Secretary, your responsibilities will include:
- Governance Leadership: Advising the Board and its Committees, ensuring adherence to statutory obligations and promoting best practices in corporate governance.
- Board Facilitation: Organising and managing Board meetings, including agenda setting, minute taking, and ensuring effective communication between the Board and management.
- Regulatory Compliance: Staying abreast of legal and regulatory changes, ensuring timely filings with Companies House and other regulatory bodies.
- Statutory Record Maintenance: Maintaining and updating statutory registers, ensuring accurate records of directors, shareholders, and other key stakeholders.
